Design systems that let your team ship fast and stay consistent.
Reusable components + design tokens for teams that build multiple products or pages.
When more than a couple of people build product, or you're shipping multiple sites under one brand, consistency stops being free. A design system — reusable components plus shared tokens — is how teams ship fast without every page drifting into its own style.
Who needs one
You have 3+ people building product. Or you're shipping multiple sites/apps under one brand. Or your existing product looks inconsistent between teams. Or every new page takes weeks because engineers rebuild the same components differently. A design system solves all of that.
What it produces
Design tokens (colors, spacing, radii, type scale) exported as CSS variables + Tailwind config + Figma variables. A component library in Figma (matched to code) — buttons, form inputs, cards, modals, navigation, tables. Documentation on when to use each. Optional Storybook or Ladle setup for the code side.
Realistic scope
For most teams a starter design system is 15–20 components + full token set + documentation. That's 3–4 weeks of work. Enterprise design systems (Adobe Spectrum, IBM Carbon scale) take teams months and are not what we ship — but we can help you scaffold and then hire in-house.
The symptom that means you need one
Every new page takes weeks because engineers rebuild the same button, card, and form three different ways. Two teams' screens look like two different products. Designers and developers argue about spacing. A design system replaces all of that with one source of truth that both sides pull from.
Tokens are the foundation
We export your colors, spacing, radii, and type scale as design tokens — CSS variables, a Tailwind config, and Figma variables that all stay in sync. Change the brand's primary color in one place and it updates everywhere. That single-source-of-truth is what makes a system worth the investment.
A starter system, not an enterprise epic
IBM and Adobe spent years and whole teams on their design systems. You don't need that. A starter system is fifteen to twenty core components plus the full token set and documentation — three to four weeks of work that pays back in ship speed almost immediately. We scaffold it; if you outgrow it, we help you hire in-house.
What's included
- Design tokens (colors, spacing, radii, type) in CSS + Tailwind + Figma
- Figma component library
- Component documentation
- Optional Storybook setup
- Team walkthrough session

Questions people ask about design systems
How many components do I actually need?
A starter system covers the fifteen to twenty you use constantly — buttons, inputs, cards, modals, navigation, tables. You add more over time as real needs appear, not upfront on spec.
Does the system work in code or just Figma?
Both, and that's the point. The Figma library and the coded components share the same tokens, so what designers draw is what developers build.
We're a small team — is this overkill?
If you're one or two people on a single site, probably yes. It earns its keep once multiple people build, or you're shipping several products under one brand.
Can you set up Storybook?
Yes, Storybook or Ladle for the code side is an optional part of the deliverable, so your team can browse and test components in isolation.
