Shopify setup that doesn't leave you fighting a template.
Theme customization, app installs, checkout optimization. Ideal for hosted, hands-off retail.
Shopify is the hands-off choice: no server to manage, best-in-class mobile checkout, and a huge app ecosystem. We set it up so you're running your brand, not fighting a template you can't quite bend.
What we do on Shopify
Store setup from scratch (products, collections, variants, images, pricing). Theme selection + customization — starting from a premium theme like Prestige, Impulse, or Warehouse, then modifying to fit your brand. App installation + configuration (Klaviyo for email, Judge.me for reviews, Recharge for subscriptions). Checkout optimization within Shopify's constraints. Custom Liquid template edits.
When Shopify beats WooCommerce
You want zero server/hosting to manage. You're OK with the 2.4-2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. You want first-class mobile checkout. You want to accept 100+ payment methods including local ones. You're shipping DTC in the US/EU/UK. You want Shop Pay one-click checkout (converts ~15% better).
Shopify limits we're honest about
Product variants max at 100 per product. Complex pricing rules require Shopify Scripts (Shopify Plus only, $2,000/mo). Custom checkout is Plus-only. B2B features are Plus-only. If you need any of that, WooCommerce is often better economics.
What we actually do on Shopify
Full store setup — products, collections, variants, images, pricing. Theme customization starting from a strong premium base (Prestige, Impulse, Warehouse) and shaped to your brand. App installation and configuration for email, reviews, and subscriptions. Checkout optimization within Shopify's rules, and custom Liquid edits where the theme falls short.
Where Shopify genuinely wins
You want zero servers to babysit. You value the best mobile checkout there is — Shop Pay one-click converts noticeably better. You need to accept a hundred-plus payment methods including local ones. You're shipping direct-to-consumer and want to focus on product and marketing, not infrastructure. For that profile, Shopify is hard to beat.
The limits we're honest about
Products cap at a hundred variants. Real custom pricing rules need Shopify Scripts, which is Plus-only and expensive. Custom checkout and proper B2B features are also Plus-only. If your business needs any of those, WooCommerce is often the better economics — and we'll say so rather than sell you up a tier.

Questions people ask about shopify
Do I need Shopify Plus?
Most stores don't. Plus only makes sense for custom checkout, script-based pricing, or serious B2B. We'll flag it honestly if your needs actually cross that line — and suggest WooCommerce if that's cheaper.
Can you customize a Shopify theme heavily?
Yes, via theme settings and custom Liquid. There are limits to what Shopify allows (especially at checkout without Plus), and we'll tell you where they are before you're surprised.
Will I pay transaction fees?
Shopify takes roughly 2.4-2.9% plus 30¢ unless you use Shopify Payments, which avoids the extra platform fee. That per-sale cost is the main trade-off versus WooCommerce.
Can you migrate my existing store to Shopify?
Yes — products, customers, orders, and SEO redirects. That's covered by our store-migration service.
